I have strong questioning and probing skills.  These enable me to put myself in the place of the audience and get to the heart of the issue.

I start most projects with a blank sheet of paper.  I then:

• Review background materials
• Interview people who know about the topic
• Create a first draft
• Work with the client to finalise the communication.

Sometimes clients have existing text that they want me to rework.  This can be an effective approach where there is a lot of content and it is quite technical.

I am highly focused on delivery.  I do what I say I’m going to do, and I meet or beat deadlines.
